JEFF LYONS has been singing since he could talk He started playing piano at 6, guitar at 12 and in his first band at 14. Through his early years, Jeff pursued an original music career, as well as attending USC’s recording engineering program. His influences have always been amazing rock singers like Ann Wilson, Steve Perry, Steve Walsh of Kansas, and of course, Lou Gramm. Jeff has shared the stage with Steve Augeri formerly of Journey, Mike Reno of Loverboy, Taylor Dane, Mark McGrath of Sugar Ray, Tommy Tutone, and many others.
MATT WALDRUM has been playing guitar since the age of 10 and has a wide range of influences from Rock, Country, Jazz, R&B, Bluegrass, and Blues. Always having great respect for each genre and striving to play the styles as authentically as possible. He has worked with artists like Jewel, Don Felder, Engelbert Humperdinck, and others. Whether it’s on tour or doing one offs, in a theater or arena, or playing with a cover band in a small intimate club setting, Matt has done it all.
MICHAEL MENNELL is a Southern California bassist and singer. He is currently in the studio recording new material with rock & roll icon John Fogerty, which includes a duet with Billy F. Gibbons. Michael played on Koko Montoya’s latest release and has appeared with Kenny Loggins, Boz Scaggs and was a member of Sir Tom Jones’ band for two years.
JASON FREESE is an American musician, songwriter, record producer, and recording engineer. As a professional studio musician he has performed on over 50 albums by more than 35 different artists, including multiple albums by the Goo Goo Dolls, Green Day, Jewel, NOFX, Zebrahead, and singer Gerard Way. Jason is the son of tuba soloist Stan Freese and the younger brother of professional drummer Josh Freese. He has performed on his brother’s solo albums as well as on albums by his band The Vandals. Jason has performed as a touring member of Green Day on their American Idiot World Tour, their 21st Century Breakdown World Tour, their 99 Revolutions Tour and their Revolution Radio Tour, and appeared on their live albums Bullet in a Bible and Awesome as F*ck. His performing credits most often consist of saxophone, piano, and keyboards. His credits as a producer include Jewel’s 2009 album Lullaby and Death by Stereo’s 2009 album Death Is My Only Friend.
RON MANAOG started studying drums and piano at the age of 8. He continued his musical education at California State University Northridge, obtaining a Bachelor of Music Degree in Percussion Performance and Studio Music, as well as attending both the Berklee College of Music and the Musician’s Institute via scholarship. He is also the recipient of the 1989 Buddy Rich Memorial Scholarship Award. Ron has performed and/or recorded with many artists and groups in almost every genre such as jazz big-band legend Artie Shaw, The Louie Bellson Orchestra, composer Lalo Schifrin, Junior Mance, Robben Ford, The Clare Fischer Big Band, Billy Preston, Thelma Houston, Billy Davis and Marilyn McCoo of the 5th Dimension, Ray Parker Jr., Deniece Williams, saxophonist Ronnie Laws and Melba Moore, as well as Bonnie Raitt, Garth Brooks, Seal, Tom Johnston of The Doobie Brothers, The Used, Greg Kurstin, David Pack of Ambrosia, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Maia Sharp, Shoshana Bean, Neil Patrick Harris, Debbie Gibson, John Tesh, Fred Travalena, Tony Danza, Lindsay Price, Venice and Jordan Zevon. Ron was a member of the Alternative Rock group “SVB”, who made their television debut on “Marie” (Marie Osmond’s show on The Hallmark Channel) in 2013.
